Maltepe University is aware of the fact that in order to progress on the international platform, it is necessary to be in harmony with individuals, institutions, cultures and all communities around the world. In this regard, internationalization at our University is considered as an important step in education and research.
Maltepe University creates new opportunities for all stakeholders in the international arena by establishing links with distinguished universities abroad to exchange students and lecturers and opportunities for joint research and scientific work.
Our university has 180 Erasmus agreements from 29 countries, 124 universities and over 600 departments and 31 international agreements. Within the scope of mobility agreements, student and academic personnel exchange programs are applied in universities.
Through the agreements within this context, many international faculty members visit our University and organize conferences, seminars and workshops. In addition to the KA103 Erasmus+ mobility, efforts are being made to implement KA2 projects that envisage international information partnerships and strategic agreements with universities and various institutions in Europe.
With the Erasmus Exchange Program and Erasmus+ Student Internship Mobility, which have been going on for years, students are offered the opportunity to study abroad during the university semester.
As Maltepe University, we have consortium agreements with Altınbaş University and K-Gem within the framework of Erasmus + Program.
Our students spend between 2 and 12 months of their education life in a university that we have an agreement with as part of Erasmus Exchange Program in Europe.
Erasmus + Student Internship Mobility Program offers our students the opportunity of vocational education and work experience in an institution abroad. Thanks to the consortium supported by Turkey Exporters Council, Community Volunteers Foundation and municipalities and also with the support of overseas connections, students are offered the chance to do internship in many European countries. The program aspires to provide support and experience to university students in managing their careers, adapting to international and multicultural business environments, gaining communication and entrepreneurship skills.
In our university, which received the Erasmus University Statement in 2004 and the extended Erasmus University Statement in 2007, and which has been moving forward in internationalization day by day, students across the world are given the opportunity to study at a point: Istanbul where different cultures.
Having been held since 2013, Maltepe University International Student Congresses (MUISC) has been organized entirely with the contributions of students, which is considered as an original dimension of internationalization.
