Guidance and Counseling Psychology (With Thesis)

The mission of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Master's Program is to provide its students with scientific competence to offer personal-social, educational, professional psychological counseling and guidance services in the most appropriate manner (individually and with group) in response to the psychological assistance requirements of children and young people who continue their studies. With this program, it is aimed to train psychological counselors who will work effectively in health, social welfare and industrial institutions and are also equipped to meet the psychological counselor needs of educational institutions.

Graduates of the program are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to work as a Counselor Teacher in the Ministry of National Education, Research Assistant in similar departments of public and foundation universities, and as Psychological Counselor in the private sector.
