The Presidency of The Republic of Turkey Human Resources Office's initiative: "Talent Gate Career Platform" that brings students, graduates, employer and university career centers together is open now. Through the platform, students and graduates, employers and university career centers will be able to interact on an online platform.
The Talent Gate Platform, a online platform that aims to contribute to the employment of students and alumni, was first signed up by 130 universities in "Talent is Everywhere" career fairs on February-March 2020. With the registration of over 340.000 students and alumni, over 400 employees, 178 universities, The Talent Gate Platform includes registrations from 564 universities.
The pilot application of the online career platform "Talent Gate", which was implemented to support career centers of universities with the order of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was started on September 2019. In the days spent at home due to COVID-19, exigency for widespread use of the platform, which was created to guide university youth on their career journey and facilitate the access of employers to qualified employees, was born, and the platform was launched to serve all universities, university youth and employers.
Designed as a contemporary career platform that will contribute to the formation of career awareness from the first day of university, Talent Gate offers an effective tool where students and alumni come together free of time and space.
Students and alumni can sign up for the 'Talent Gate' to create a network among themselves and with employers, get internship opportunities, have interview opportunities with employers, inform relevant employers about their skills, apply for jobs and guide their careers. Employers can also benefit from the platform to have access the human resources they need and introduce themselves to the potential workforce.
All job posts and other career opportunities of public institutions and organizations will also be published on the "Talent Gate." All university students and graduates will have equal access to the job posts of public institutions. Moreover, universities will be able to keep track of their graduates via the system.
Talent Gate is launched to develop the existing capacity in the field of career services in Turkey, diversify, disseminate the services of university career centers and make them more effective by improve their quality.
